From zero to 1,700 readers in twelve months

Rentman needed US-focused content that would rank in search results, speak directly to American buyers, and turn trial users into customers without the typical agency timeline.

Rentman was expanding into the US but had no native English speakers in-house. Their content didn't resonate with American buyers, and they needed results fast without the delays and bureaucracy of working through an agency.

The challenge

The goal

80% traffic increase

The vast majority of visitors found Connecterra's content through search and social, without any paid support behind it.

0 to 1,700 readers

Starting from scratch, the blog built a steady, engaged readership within the US dairy and agtech space over the course of a year.

One post drove 600 readers

A single well-targeted piece accounted for over a third of total blog traffic, showing what the right topic and angle could do for the brand's visibility.

The Results

The process

Creating a repeatable content process

I started by auditing Connecterra's existing content to understand what was already out there and where the gaps were.

From there, I built a content calendar that gave the whole team visibility into what was coming and when, and created a brief template the marketing manager and Product Manager could use to plan and brief in content independently.

With the foundation in place, I took over execution entirely, delivering monthly blogs, Facebook posts, and a newsletter on schedule every month.

Working closely with the Product Manager, I made sure every piece used the right industry language, addressed timely topics like tariffs, and resonated with a US audience of dairy farmers, vets, and farm advisors.

With execution handled and a clear system in place, the Connecterra team could focus on product and growth without content falling behind.

The content calendar gave everyone visibility into what was coming and when, but more than that, it became a living record of everything that had been created, why it was created, and how it fit into the bigger picture.

Additionally, the brief template meant that briefing on new content became a straightforward process anyone on the team could follow, without needing to reinvent the wheel every time or rely on one person to hold all the context.

Together, those two things gave the team the structure and clarity to keep content moving consistently, even as priorities shifted and the business kept growing.

The impact

Here's what they said

“I had the pleasure of working with Livia for a year as our freelance copywriter at Connecterra, where she created monthly blog posts, social media content, and occasional email communications. She adapted very quickly to writing about the agriculture industry, for an audience of dairy farmers and professionals, producing clear, engaging content from day one.

She is a joy to work with—flexible, helpful, and always proactive in finding the right words and approach for our message. Communication was always smooth, and she consistently delivered high-quality work on time. And we saw a noticeable increase in our organic website traffic during this period! Thanks, Livia!”
